4.2.4 Consortium Representatives (CRs)
Each implementing partner will nominate a Consortium Representative (CR) that assumes the overall accountability for their assigned share of budget, activities, and deliverables. Each Consortium Representative signs a mandate or Partnership Agreement for the Grant Owner (GO) to sign the Grant Agreement on their behalf. In complex organizations (such as universities or other bodies), the person signing the mandate needs to have powers of representation and authority to do so.
Responsibilities
- The Consortium Representatives (CRs) co-sign with the Grant Owner (GO) the Grant Agreement (by means of a mandate or Partnership Agreement) and are accountable for their share of the project activities and budget.
- Mobilise the required resources from the partner organizations.
- Appoints the Partner EU Project Manager (PtEUPM).
- The Consortium Representatives (CRs) approve the objectives of any outsourced activities and deliverables and becomes accountable for the contractor’s performance.
